In keeping with the ideals of कृण्वन्तो विश्वमार्यम् the DAV Organization has been striving to spread the oriental culture, spiritual knowledge and philosophy for the benefit of people all over the world. In the west, DAV Societies have been formed in United Kingdom and United States of America.
In Middle East Asia and the island country of Mauritius a number of colleges have been renamed as D.A.V. Eastern colleges and is affiliated to D.A.V. society. In Bangkok under the auspices of the society, a cultural centre has been started.
