  • International educational exchange programme started from the session 2013-14

    International educational exchange programme started from the session 2013-14. Within this approach, students and teachers of Global Indian International School, Malaysia participated in different formal events in DAVSKVB premises and informal programme outside the school on 2nd to 10th May. Likewise, 12 students and 2 teachers made an educational visit to Malaysia on 21st to 31st of August in Global India International School Malysia, Kuala Lumpur.
  • Anisha Thapa Magar, student of Class VIII'C' is selected for the Europe visit

    Anisha Thapa Magar, student of Class VIII'C' is selected for the Europe visit by the Media Land Pvt. Ltd. She had won the title, 'Battle Queen' in the event organized by the same organization.
  • DAVSKVB launched new two houses

    DAVSKVB launched new two houses, Mt. Kanchanjungha and Mt. Machhapuchre from the academic year 2013/14. Before, four houses named Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Gaurishankar and Mt. Lhotse since the establishments were in practice.
  • Mrs. B. Rao, the principal of DAVSKVB received International Gold Star Award at Bangkok

    Mrs. B. Rao, the principal of DAVSKVB received International Gold Star Award at Bangkok Thailand on 19th June by Mr. Korn Bodharansi, former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand. The ceremony is held by India International Friendship Society on. Every year, India International Friendship Society awards distinguished person for uplifting of the society in the main stream of development.
  • Mrs. Bhubaneswari Rao, Principal received two awards at a time

    Mrs. Bhubaneswari Rao, Principal received two awards at a time. She had received Mother Teresa Excellence Award and Glory of India Award in the social service and educational sector respectively. The programme was organized by Integrated Council for Socio-Economic progress in Bangalore on 15th December.
  • DAVSKVB organized Guinness World Record Event

    DAVSKVB organized Guinness World Record Event to its internal six students and external three students on 12th December in Buddha Hall. This is the first programme in the country organized by the School for the group record. Video footage, pictures and document of the programme imprisoned internally and externally have been sent to the Head Office of Guinness World Record London, U.K for further verification.
  • The team of four students from grade XI grabbed first position out of 165

    The team of four students from grade XI grabbed first position out of 165 teams from 38 schools of Kathmandu in Educatus Knowledge Quest 2013, an International Quiz Contest on 12th December. The programme was organized by SS Exhibits and Media, New Delhi India in St. Xavier’s School Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. Students of DAV participating in that event were Shivani Sharma- XI ‘C’, Rashmi Lohia XI’C’. Manish Pandey –XI ‘B’ and Nitesh Pokharel XI ‘B’.
  • Child friendly kindergarten

    Child friendly kindergarten Playing Hall put in to practice from 22nd December 2013. The playing Hall provides different features like trampoline, rock climbing, ball pull, tunnel, castle, swing, slide and caterpillar.
  • DAVSKVB donated 11 sacks clothes

    DAVSKVB donated 11 sacks clothes collected from student community through its own hand to the poor and marginalized community of Hattimuda, VDC Morang on 14th January for the first time. Previously, different social organization used to donate the same collected by the DAVSKVB students.
  • DAVSKVB launched 2nd Winter Camp

    DAVSKVB launched 2nd Winter Camp, winter school on 2nd -14th January 2014 in its history. Total, 196 students from Kindergarten to Secondary wing attended the 12th day programme.
